Exhibitions

The aim of participating in exhibitions is to propagate renewable energy technologies. The institute will put up stalls in exhibitions organized by educational institutions, public awareness programmes etc and the exhibits pertaining to renewable energy, energy conservation and sustainable development will be displayed.
 

Objective:

  • To familiarize the visitors on renewable energy technologies, energy conservation and sustainable development etc.
  • To propagate advantages and potential scope for bio fuels/biodiesel
  • To distribute handbooks, brochures etc to interested visitors.

Expected outcome:

  • Awareness created on RE, energy/water conservation/bio fuels etc.

"Parisara Mela" - 5th June, 2015 conducted at Bangalore University, Bengaluru

MGIRED participated in “Parisara Mela” conducted at Bangalore University on 05.06.2015 on occassion of World Environment Day – 2015 celebration.

Sri. Bharat Lal Meena, Principal Secretary of Higher Education inaugurated the function about 500 school students and public participated in this event and got awareness about Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy.

 

"Parisara Habba" - 5th & 6th June, 2015 conducted at Kanteerva Stadium, Bengaluru

MGIRED also participated in “Parisara Habba” at Kanteerva Stadium which was conducted by Karnataka State Pollution Control Board on occation of World Environment Day-2015 celebrated on 05.06.2015 and 06.06.2015. The event was inaugurated by Shri. Siddaramaiah, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka.

The Chief Minister also visited our stall during this event along with Shri. D.V. Sadananda Gowda, Hon’ble Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India and Shri. Ramanatha Rai, Hon’ble Minister of Forest, Ecology and Environment, Government of Karnataka. About 2000 school/college students and public participated in this event and got awareness about Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy.
